Sun erythema – Family Tips on the Beach

Skin reaction due to an exposure to the sun or too long or not sufficiently protected, sun erythema is reddening of the skin, often accompanied by itching, blisters, nausea and fever.
Disorder very common and typical of the delicate skin of children, it usually heals within 5-7 days.
The risk of sun erythema is higher for the first exposures, because the skin needs at least 48-72 hours to produce enough melanin to filter out UV rays. But if the skin is very clear, great care is required at least a week.
Asso and Pepe in particular recommend to do what they don’t have done… that is:
1. to avoid sun exposure between 11am and 3pm
2. to slather on sunscreen with high SPF every 2-3 hours, and especially after bathing.
They also suggest:
1. to relieve pain with topical products with emollient, moisturizing and soothing principles, and in spray foam instead of cream, to avoid rubbing the irritated areas.
2. to imitate one of their mascot friends who, a month before going to sea, in order to strengthen the capillary walls, ate a lot of red-orange foods and now is not minimally reddened.
