Riccione Oltremare of Wonders
On the hills of Riccione there is a park of environmental wonders that is about to reopen the gates. Extended on 110 thousand mq, from 8 March Oltremare comes back with its exciting journey to discover the natural and faunal beauties of earth and sea planet.
To give all the family a funny and at the same time educational experience, the park focuses on the environment of its environs, the coasts of the Adriatic Sea, and offers also the spectacular cinematographic Imax showing.
The three thematic areas in which it is divided lead the visitor in a Journey through time,
from the Big Bang to today, making pivot on the evolutionistic theories of Darwin; in an extraordinary exploration of marine life From the oceans to the Adriatic Sea; and in a charming path between flora and fauna of Po delta with Our animals – Delta and surrounding areas.
With the sophisticated technology Imax, in an immersion effect, the viewer can choose whether to enter in the wonders of space with “Blue Planet”, in the world of tiny insects with “Bugs”, in the life of the oceans with “The Living sea” or in a prehistory that gives the shudders with “T-Rex”. We signalize for this spring the arrival of the new “Into the deep”.
Among the main attractions the show of dolphins in the Lagoon, Hippocampus, the largest exhibition in the world of seahorses, the funny Farm and the charming Flight of birds of prey.
The park is served by public transport, is provided with each service and has a lot of refreshment points.
Free entrance for children under five years, reductions are expected for groups or for the whole family through the special hotel packages.
It offers schools an important “ludidactic” activity.
